James D. Adams, Founder and Partner

Jim started as an independent agent for a large mutual insurance company over thirty years ago. During the last three decades, Jim has been committed to providing individuals and families with the guidance they need. 

In the early 1980’s Jim formed CFC Benefits to provide guidance to institutional clients. Since that time CFC Benefits has grown into one of the most respected employee benefit firms in Southwest Ohio.

Jim holds a bachelor and masters degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He also holds several industry designations, including CLU and ChFC.

Martin T. Hileman CBC, Managing Partner

Marty has been involved in the insurance industry for over eight years working on the insurance carrier side. During this time Marty’s focus has primarily been on employee benefits for both small and large employers.

His experience with both small and large corporate clients, self-funded and fully-insured plans, help CFC Benefits provide the appropriate solution for each client.

Marty is a 1998 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He earned his MBA in 2006 and is currently pursuing his CFP designation. 

Michael S. Cardwell, Partner

Michael S. Cardwell, LUTCF, joined CFC Benefits Group in 1997. Michael specializes in a wide range of products and services including employee benefits.

Michael is a 1983 graduate of the University of Dayton with a BA in Business Administration. He is also a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
